OUR FOUNDER'S NOTE
Hails from a family background of Professor & Doctors, I am a passionate learner from childhood and had keen interest to do something extraordinary in the field of Pharmaceutical and Life Science Industry. Started schooling from village to moving to India’s one of the top growing City for higher studies, it was not an easy journey to accommodate and adjust in city like Bangalore. In the summer of 2015, after completing my master’s degree in Life Science, I embarked on a challenging journey in search of a job within the pharmaceutical industry. To my dismay, every single company, I approached for job greeted me with rejection. This frustrating experience forced me to introspect and realise that something within me needed to change in order to break through this seemingly impenetrable barrier. After careful analysis and extensive research on the prevailing market conditions, I began to pinpoint the factors contributing to my numerous rejections. It was at this moment of clarity that I resolved to enhance my skillset to align with the current demands of the industry.
I fully dedicated myself to continuous learning and development, striving to become one of the countless dedicated employees in the global pharmaceutical workforce. However, I soon came to a profound realisation. My struggle was not unique; it was a shared challenge faced by countless graduates transitioning from academia to Industry to start their professional journey. They were all designed to tread the same path I had walked, facing the same hurdles and rejections. Then, on the 14th of February 2019, after wrapping up a day’s work in the laboratory, I found myself sitting with a group of close colleagues who had become lifelong friends. At Office canteen, during evening tea break, over casual gathering that I pitched an idea to bridge the chasm that separated academia from industry. That was the moment “Pharma Connections” was born, marking a pivotal turning point in our lives. Over the past six years, our journey has been nothing short of remarkable. We’ve consistently pushed the boundaries, reimagining how we bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world industry needs. Our commitment to innovation and excellence has been the driving force behind our progress, and we continue to forge ahead, creating a brighter future for the next generation of professionals entering the pharmaceutical and Life science sector.
